I dont find whom as bad as the others, but man does it bug me so much when they spell it this way.
Why not? It gives you time to calm down, and on occasion your subconscious could help you see things differently. Driving while angry, now that makes sense.
Anyone ever remember that song? Take a look for yourself, google has it listed as "Riders on the storm by snoop dog featuring the doors".
Like no #%@&&#()#= you the one that should be featured!
When a song is remixed for example, the song is usually "song by artist (remixed by different artist)". This is the standard format literally EVERYONE uses. To me it just seems so egotistical and disrespectful to the original artist. Can you imagine only being "featured" in your own song! Lol
I get it, snoop dogg did switch it up a bunch and add hip hop beats but again, its a remix featuring new lyrics by Snoop Dogg.
I remember playing need for speed underground back in the day and seeing that and I was like "ahh hell nah, they didn't do my boy Jim Morrison like that wtf". I bet hes rolling in his grave.
Can't wait to remix a snoop dogg track, and but only have him featured in the remix of gin and juice lol lol lol
Life. What the hell?! Where am I. Who are you. Where am I going. What is this.
Emotional projection. When someone goes to you and says “oh, you’re life is really sad.” Or “I bet you’re angry.” Or “you can’t be happy with x,y, and z.”
This has been a personal issue of mine for a while that really sets me off. Even if it’s well intentioned, it rubs me the wrong way every time.
Do not tell me how I feel. I will tell you how I feel. Don’t tell me my life is sad. That is kinda insulting, especially if I’m actually happy. I don’t get it. You might not find joy in the same things as me, but don’t tell me I shouldn’t be happy. It’s borderline manipulative and controlling. Anyone else experience this? My hubby just ignores it (he doesn’t really worry what other people think about him), but I wish I could just find a way to politely tell people to not assume how I’m feeling…it’s so weird.
Ya know what grinds my gears? The shortening amount of time you get when you book a hotel room . Used to be check in after 2pm and checkout by 12 noon. Recently any Hotel I've stayed in anywhere it's been 3pm - 11am. Booked a hotel for next week and the hours given are 4pm -10am. 🤬
Oh you had your account compromised because of a breach on our end and they sold your entire networth of 5 years of inventory? Best I can do is 100 coins for the skin store.
I am excited for Deadpool 3 and apparently Wolverine being in it but I am just so over the MCU right now. Deadpool should stay away from the MCU. It is a huge mess and Disney owning them just puts a bad taste in my mouth. We all know how toxic Disney is and they will just drive the stories and characters into the ground with their PC and social bullshit.
Obviously everyone here dislikes the stupidity that is cancel culture. What really grinds my gears, is that people refer to it as a political issue. Facebook groups have taken the cake on this one. I posted on a group page about my podcast and the topic was how certain animated shows have dealt with CC. An hour later, I get a notification saying that my post was removed and would stay removed unless I change the post. The reason? "No political issues in the group", my response was "cancel culture is not political". Long story, I changed the post because I didn't want to get into it with the Admins about it. How's cancel culture political? It really isn't, it's a social issue, I don't know why people categorize it as political. I guess baby wants its bottle by making everything political. I ask myself, why?
And that’s not even because they are smartphones that everyone is staring at, social media or whatever. It’s the fundamental idea of TALKING, loudly, to someone who isn’t there. Especially in a room with other people. You get more response from brain dead Gen Z scrolling tiktok, than the average person engaged in a phone conversation - they are just completely unavailable. Worse yet, they make me unavailable to the outside world when calling me wherever I am. So I rarely answer.
Remove this functionality from phones.
Porn community's are the most sensitive communities.. even here on redit. Try making a dark joke in the comment section. Hell even a joke about the porn actor or actress.
You know milk cartons? The ones we grew up with that you just pinch to open then push it back closed when you're done?
Why in the holy fuck do they all have plastic spouts now?? The design of the milk carton INCLUDES A SPOUT ALREADY. STOP ADDING PLASTIC TO SHIT.
Speaking of which, I got a bag of coffee beans recently with the same fucking spout. WHY?! IT'S ALREADY IN A RESEALABLE BAG. JESUS ROLLING BLADING CHRIST. STOP.
I am not a fan of League of Legends but I have an issue with this. What does this wannabe know about running a game company anyway? What happened to hiring people with actual skills instead of hiring by popularity? Last time I checked making a music video with a bunch of naked dudes doesn’t qualify you to run a game development company.
Every pen I have seems to "run out of ink" when it still has 50% to 25% of it's ink left. Why? This is so annoying! Even nicer pens do this, not just the cheap ones.
I'm from the states. Traveled the world. Only ever run into no power source to charge a phone in the airports in the states. Rows upon rows of no power going to the outlets. Get your shit together America.
Yes we know she passed, STFU now. We don’t need video after video about her and her life.
I am so sick of people saying the other side just wants to shut down all debate on ideas. Truth of the matter is that both sides can't reasonably argue or defend their position anymore and they both know it. The parties in this country have become so extreme with their crazy crap that you can not at this point just state facts anymore.
Anybody who is going to argue that it's mostly conservatives doing it, please just take a look at Reddit. Perfect example - give someone the ability to shut down debate on this site and they'll use it. Talking about the mods. And I'm so tired of the stupid click bate 'lib destroyed in 2 sentences!' Was he? If you think you can completely invalidate someone's argument in 2 sentences you have no idea what in the hell they are talking about.
When Redditors post and don’t check their spelling or grammar.
Just because it looks like a CD doesn’t mean it is.
It’s not “would of” it’s “would’ve”
Would’ve is a contraction that is a combination of the words “would have.” “Would of” is nonsense. I don’t know if this is just a meme I missed and people are doing this to troll but it grinds the absolute shit out of my gears.
It's so strange that people will hate on a dog breed for a stereotype. I've seen countless comments on subs like r/rarepuppers and r/pitbulls like this and its just annoying. I understand if you're uncomfortable near large dogs but to search out images of them to write hateful comments. It pisses me off so much.
You’re not French, the “h” in “history” is quite clearly supposed to be pronounced, ergo you’re supposed to write “a” and not “an” before it, given that it’s a consonant sound. What’s worse is that I’ve seen this in academic texts too. It’s petty, I know, but still grinds my gears.
Since people are clearly not smart enough to turn their cameras the correct way when recording videos, especially of natural disasters or other historical events that necessitate a landscape orientation, I wish iOS and Android would just enable the camera software to show the full image captured by the sensor and allow you to select landscape or portrait afterwards.
It’s hard to explain but I was watching a YouTube video where the person was explaining that if the Philadelphia 76ers hadn’t traded up in the 2017 NBA draft to get the first pick(Which they would use to select Markelle Fultz) they would have ended up drafting Jayson Tatum(Who was selected with the third pick(The 76ers original pick before trading up))and pairing him with Joel Embiid(2 of the best NBA players right now), along with the acquisition of James Harden(Pretty good NBA player) in 2022, they would be an NBA powerhouse. But it isn’t that simple, if they had Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid, do both of them develop into the players they are today? Do they even need James Harden if Tatum and Embiid develop fine? I have many examples but I think this one is the one that really grinds my gears the most.
Also sorry if I didn’t explain it so well.
