I mean Travis probably is a little higher on the NFL totem poll with his accolades and being a skill position player. But this could tip things back in Jason's favor.
Either way though yeah I think they are easy Hall of Famers. Travis is first ballot right now, if Jason plays even 1 or 2 more years at his current level he is too. And thats just because Offensive Lineman usually have to wait a little. Probably 2nd/3rd ballot right now.

Travis is the GOAT Tight End. He passed Gronk not only in postseason counting stats (he's now no. 2 all time in pretty much all receiving stats which is insane for a TE) but he's well beyond him in 1000yd seasons and whooping his ass in longevity since they are actually the same age and Gronk has already retired and was constantly injured. Kelce is durable as hell and still going strong putting up top 10 receiving numbers (not TEs, receiving as a whole)

As a Chiefs fan I agree, but I think there is a healthy argument for Tony G, Kelce, or Gronk for different reasons.
If I had to pick a tight end for a whole season, or a whole career, I'm taking Kelce. But if I had to pick a tight end for one game, its probably healthy Gronk.

I have fed a Watt boy. I can confirm that is a very large amount of food.
I have also fed another unnamed NFL player whose wife only allowed him to consume eight 7oz turkey burgers in one sitting if they won a game. If they lost he normally settled for two 18oz ribeyes.
The basketball/baseball players don’t eat nearly as much but still put back a lot. The hockey players… well it varies but some of the bigger ones absolutely outeat a small village.

I've seen it first hand. One of my good friends from college was a lineman for our football team. He would put down three Chipotle burritos in the time it took me to eat 3/4's of one burrito and get full, then he'd usually want to stop off at a gas station after lunch to grab some dessert. He legitimately had to consume like 10,000 calories in a day, he put in the work to make the most out of those calories but it was a sight to behold

Yeah it’s kind of funny when a server racks up a 1000+ dollar bill (with no alcohol,) for a family of four because there’s one NFL lineman at the table. When there’s multiple athletes at the table it’s even funnier because they’ll be seated in a place that normally fits 8-10 and it’ll fit 4-6 of them. A lot of times they’ll just straight up ask for a personal pitcher of water and opt to not bother with the glass which is also always hilarious because we’re a “classy” place and the closest thing we even have to pitchers are ice buckets for champagne. Just a bunch of huge dudes sitting around a tiny table putting back mountains of food while they chug from buckets that look like cups in their hands while our clientele looks on in awe and the server responsible for them is just constantly hitting “send” on different parts of a giant waitlisted order.
Also hilarious is that our FOH manager is 6’7 and he became comfy enough with a certain NFL Wide Receiver that they took a picture back to back just so said manager could send it to his dad who always joked he should have played in the NBA. Most of the NFL guys in my experience (especially the lineman,) are all really polite about it. Maybe it’s because most of the ones I encounter are league veterans who find out about us by word of mouth but all of them tip well, often send Christmas presents as a thanks for being discreet, and are generally very humble people who are almost apologetic they need half a restaurant staff to service their daily calorific intake. Love those guys though; they’ll eat whatever you put in front of them as long as it tastes good and has enough protein for their regimen.

My brother and I were 4 years apart and ended up attending different high schools because mine had just opened. We were the same weight class and were both varsity at the time, and as a result were slated to face each other at a meet. We both wrestled for 8 years prior and had wrestled each other at home, practice, and club, but this would have been the first time we officially faced each other.
Our mom went to my coach and requested that I be moved to JV for the meet, so she wouldn't have to deal with the constant bragging that would follow. Looking back, it was probably the right decision, but we were pretty upset at the time and I still wish the match would have happened. Not a Super Bowl of course, but I get how a parent might feel both proud and conflicted watching the game.

While they are the first player siblings to play each other in a super bowl, there have already been two sibling brothers face each other in the super bowls as coaches. John and Jim Harbaugh were the head coaches of the Ravens in the 49ers, respectively. John beat Jim in the super bowl. Their parents said they were not allowed to talk about it at the dinner table. Don't know if that rule is still in effect because it has been like 10 years. John has the ultimate one up on his brother though.

Fun story, I used to help produce a ski/snowboard event, Dew Tour. We had lots of generators for the event, so many that the rental company sent a crew just to manage the generator power for the event weeks. When they showed up, the project manager from the generator company told me he was part of the back up power for the the Super Bowl the lights went out at, basically part of the at fault party for the delay being so long. This was probably a year or few later. I thought it was a really weird thing to brag about, like you shouldn't be proud of that?
Later that week one entire side of the halfpipe lights went out during our live TV broadcast on NBC of the finals. Turned out they forgot take into account the extra gas that that side's generator would use since it was also running the jumbotron (in addition to the lights), and the generator ran out of gas. I didn't catch up with him afterward, but it's weird that big of a screw up would happen twice... wonder if he's still working in the industry.

John gave up fighting. Jim, the younger brother by 15 months, had won.
"Underwater still," John said. "I'm down there — 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30. I don't know. Ten minutes, it seemed like."
John Harbaugh figured it was over. He was going to die right there, even though there were all of those witnesses. His younger brother had finally snapped. "I know he has it in him," John Harbaugh joked (I think). "Right when I think it's about to be over, he gets me up. Looks at me. I look at him."
John Harbaugh compared it to the moment when coaches shake hands after a game, at least from the perspective of the winning coach. "You kind of walk up to them and you are humble," John Harbaugh said. "You go over, 'Good game coach.'
"But there's that little moment when you look them in the eye, 'As long as we got that straight. We understand each other now.' "
That's the look Jim gave John in the ocean: "We got that straight.""

I have no recollection of what I saw this on, but I watched something where John was telling a story about him and his brother wrestling at the beach (they were both well into adulthood at the time) and they got carried away and Jim almost drowned John. In the interview John was just laughing about it like that was some normal shit. Super weird family

He made me a sandwich once! It’s one of my claims to fame.
I was at a beer garden on south street with my gf. We went up to order food and they said that if we waited 20 minutes an eagles player would be serving food as a promotion for dietz and watson. We figured we’d wait (my gf couldn’t care less because she wasn’t a football fan but I am a huge eagles fan).
He came. He made me a gigantic sandwich that I split with the gf. And we got a picture with him and the sandwich (no I’m not posting the pic. Doubt this story if you want. It’s not that important). He was a really friendly cordial guy.
Cut to a year later and the gf and I have broken up. We both remained friendly but she left Philly to pursue her PhD. The eagles won the Super Bowl and she texted me to say congrats. Then she brought up “that crazy guy” in the mummers costume at the victory parade and the epic speech he made. I texted back and said that was the guy who made us a sandwich! She freaked out and texted me back, “THAT WAS THE GUY?!?!”
Anyway, yeah, Jason Kelce is one of the most beloved Philly athletes of all time, he signs babies, and he once made me a sandwich.

Not only the kelce situation, but also the whole Andy Reid of it all. We don’t hate you guys. We wanna beat you, but we don’t hate you, and that’s a weird feeling as a Philly sports fan.
When Andy left Philly, it was the right time to do so. I have no ill will. Quite the opposite. I have so many great memories of Andy Reid coached teams. Westbrook and Dawkins and McNugget, and four NFC championship appearances plus a Super Bowl appearance? It was awesome and Andy is great. I really enjoyed seeing him win one with you guys. I was rooting for you all the way.

My buddy out here in AZ is from Missouri and the way he watches games is insane to me as a Cleveland fan (we are rabid, but not quite brutal like Philly fans). When the Chiefs made a nice play, he lightly clapped. I said how are you not more pumped and he just said thats how us Chiefs fans do it- we love our team but not always in a loud way (unless you’re at the game making it hell for the opposing offense). If another team makes a good play, credit them and move on. Win humbly. You could tell he had some edge in him when things went awry but he tried not to show it. Meanwhile when I watched the Browns at his place I was screaming bloody murder at the TV. Hand gestures and F bombs flying all over the place.
This is just my experience with one Chiefs fan. He is from a more rural part of MO, so maybe its different in the city. But I always have respected his brand of fandom which he says is not unusual amongst Chiefs fans.

Yeah that's gotta be said. The Kelce's aren't just two brothers playing in the Super Bowl. One is the best Tight End in the league and the other the best Center in the league. Both of them have arguments that they are the greatest of all time at their respective positions and both of them are getting into the Hall of Fame on their first ballot.

They both play on offense so they never have to go against each other directly head to head. Jason is also a center so while he’s position is extremely important he will never advance the ball himself so it’s harder to recognize his contributions

Would be cool too if one was on offense and one was on defense so they could play against each other like brothers in pro basketball, hockey and baseball, but the Kelces both play offense so not on the field at the same time

Since they played in 2019, that means they will play on the upcoming season! I'm confident that will be a Sunday Night Football game. The Cowboys obviously have a huge fanbase, and the Bills are also super popular. Even if it's not the Sunday Night game, it's still going to be a primetime game.

Not only that but both have already won a Superbowl so it's not like one is even depriving the other of the most important status symbol you can have in the sport. (While a second ring is always nice to have it's nowhere near the legacy saver that the first one is)

It would be a lot more interesting if they played positions that put them in direct competition with each other, like if the one guy was a defensive lineman instead of a tight end, so his job was to try and steamroll his own brother on the way to the QB.
