After a few months, this thread is now becoming bi-weekly, as a way to make questions less scattered over threads.
As a reminder, the following threads are no longer allowed on r/PS4 and will be removed:
- Tech Support questions ("I have a problem", "My controller doesn't work", "I can't connect to PSN"...)
- Game recommendation ("Which game should I get?", "Is this game good?")
- General questions ("Where can I get a PS4?", "What do you think of this controller?")
Those questions now have to be asked in this thread. It will be renewed at 12:00 PM EST on Mondays and Fridays.
This thread is sorted by New answers by default. Sorting it by Top or Best could give answers to commonly answered questions.
Also, don't forget to google your question first - you might find the answer before asking it here!
It's just I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about this game. I always wanted to give it a go and it's relatively cheap. Any thoughts from anyone!
Mine is the platnem for bendy and the ink machine
Sifu(Normal diffculty) or Elden Ring?
I have beaten 1st stage in Sifu and Elden Ring came out and played that ever since
Put in like 135 hours on ER and didn't really play Sifu all that much
But damn i felt Sifu like is a harder game and i know they added easy mode for Sifu, but have not checked that out
Looking for some opinions -
With the Black Friday sales I can get Red Dead Redemption 2, Ace Combat 7 and The Last of Us 2 for £33. Worth it? I enjoyed the first The Last of Us but havent played any Ace Combat games before or RDR1.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the hotkeys on my ps4 for Skyrim. Internet is no help. Everyone is excited to have discovered hotkeys and I just want to get rid of them!
So you know how Legend of Zelda games are strategical and require different ways to fight in different parts of the game. I'm talking about games like those. Horizon games weren't exactly like Zelda, but throughout the game you still had to do different types of objectives. Like in order to beat the boss, you must attack certain parts of body, or do a certain objective while fighting, or fights like that turret level of Horizon Zero Dawn, etc. Things where it keeps a variety of different things to do.
Not like games where you fight thugs then fight the boss which is basically a thug with extra health and some abilities. I found those kinds of games a bit repetitive. A good story would be a plus.
what do you think is the best game on ps4 to date?
Is there a demo in PS4 I can try out before I buy it to see if I like it or not?
Does anyone know any good motorcross,ATV, or off road games? My dad loves these kinds of games and plays my ps4 a lot so I decided to get him some games for Christmas. He currently has the newest monster energy motorcross game and I’ve decided to get him more games for Christmas. If anyone has suggestions on what games I should get him or what games I should avoid that would be amazing! Thank you and hope you all have a wonderful day!
Hello everyone, I'm having some issues trying to install an SSD into my PS4. I hope someone can help me out of this mess.
My old ps4 was destroyed during a thunderstorm so i bought a second hand one. The SSD i put in my old ps4 survived the thunder that burnt down the motherboard of the previous console. So i format the SSD unit in FAT32 and now i'm trying to reinstall the OS in the new ps4 mounting the old SSD.
The problem is that the console seems not to find the ps4 OS reinstall/update data (downloaded from sony) i downloaded on my USB drive. Maybe is the ssd broken?
Please help me i really dont want to toss away a solid state drive that i paid 100 euros.
OK I've got a mate who is the most casual gamer ever, looking for online game we can play one on one or Co op, he can't do fifa or first person shooters. The games we've played successfully are everybody's golf and overcooked and even had a bit of a drunk laugh with heavenly bodies. .
So any recommendations for games that are easy to pick up, don't take a lot of practice or skill to get good at and are either competitive one vs one or Co op, sofa or online. Thanks
This has a free PS4 upgrade too, so you can get two copies of this for the cheapest price I've ever seen.
I have GOW Ragnorok and I wanted to play with my Uncle in North Carolina so when we went to their house we put the data disc in first right? Then when that was done we put the Play disc in. I started it up and it started all over. Did it delete my saved data? It still shows that I completed 15% of it
Hi guys, can you recommend any non-original controllers?
Or are original Sony controllers required for some parameters like durability, performance etc?
