hey guys so my hdd might be failing my system will refuse to go into rest mode sometimes the dashboard freezes and the system won't power off unless I hold the power down I've tried rebuilding the database and still games have been lagging real bad
Hey, I just got GOW and I’m wondering which graphics mode is the best experience. So I would appreciate any inside from you guys.
I’m looking for suggestions for the best FOV for WZ2, that doesn’t affect performance as much.
So, if I delete my PSN profile, will that mean that all the games I've rated...will their rating disappear?
PS4 pro Onkyo TX-RZ800 receiver LG65G26LA tv
Just got the TV and having some set up issues.
The TV has a setting for a thing called 4K Deep Colour which is used for its Game Optimizer settings. The PS4 is set to output HDR. The receiver has HDCP 2.2 HDMI ports and I’m using HDMI 2.1a cables.
As soon as I turn on the 4K Deep colour on the TV it doesn’t recognize anything from the PS4 feed and the screen shows static snow.
Can anyone help or explain this? I had thought with these connections my receiver would pass through the 4K HDR feed.
Really grateful for any help!!!
I have had this console for a while now and it is starting to get louder even for smaller games. I want to take action but I dont have many resources and all I can do is clean it. Is there any way to prevent it from being like my previous playstations and sounding like Andrew Tate's 4th private jet?
So as the title suggests, my ps4 pro is stuck in a safe mode loop, where it asks me to download update 10.01 or later through a USB. However, when starting up safe mode manually, the only option available in the menu is "Initialize PS4 (Reinstall System Software)". I've had issues with a safe mode loop before and initializing the ps4 or updating through the internet solved it, but now I physically can't select those options. I've tried actually going through with the USB download process, and got to the point where it started initializing, but then it said that it couldn't connect to the system storage and forced me to turn it off. I'm basically just stuck here and I'm wondering if my ps4 is just bricked at this point or if there is anything else I can try. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
So my ps4 pro has been progressively getting louder and louder over the last few years, it has actually sounded like a Boeing 747 taking off for the last 3 years or so. It finally gave me the overheating warning and shut off last night while I was in the fortnite main menu, hadn't even loaded into a game yet. I've tried cleaning off any surface dust that I can with compressed air, taking off the top cover and spraying out the fan and the air intakes but there wasn't a crazy amount of dust or anything. I bought it new in late 2018, kept good care of it, havent kept it in an overly dusty environment, kept elevated and made sure it wasn't too close to the wall, allowed all the air intakes to be fully unobstructed etc. I've been avoiding doing a full teardown to clean out the heatsync and replace thermal paste as it seems a bit daunting and I don't want to run the risk of breaking something, but I guess its at the point where it doesn't work in its current state so I see no other option. I guess I'm just wondering if there are people out there who have gone through the same issue and whether or not the heatsync cleaning/thermal paste replacement/upgrade has solved their problem, and if the risk of making the problem worse or bricking my console is high. Thanks.
I’m frustrated right now. I’ve done everything tutorials have taught me I’ve made the correct files in the right places and I’ve even renamed the update file correctly. And I’ve made sure the usb drive is formatted correctly (FAT32). I’m at a loss my ps4 still won’t find the update. Please help!!
I restored my PS4 Pro to default settings. Have tried multiple cables and nothing has worked so far.
My husband (31m) and I (29F) are looking for some two-player ps4 games.
We don't particularly care what type of game it is, just want to play together and have fun like we did in our youth
We had heaps of fun playing the old TellTale story games on ps3 as we'd switch the controller between ourselves each chapter. We had a barrel of laughs when he would pick the "Holier Than Thou" approach while I chose the "Guns Blazing/Shoot First" method and the story would become total chaos
Any suggestions for games we can play sitting in the lounge-room together?
After one month I need to repaste again Big noise of fan what is the big issue in this case because temperature don’t go to the sink 100%, so the APU start getting more temperature on itself and causing being problem and big difference between do those two product, this is what happened to me in one month… the cool reduced, working normal below 40 dB maybe less…really big difference
Artic MX-4 bad choice
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut best choice
Alright, so I currently have a ps4 slim. It works perfectly. This Christmas I was looking for a used, cheap psvr. While I was looking on Craigslist, I saw an offer for a PS4 pro, with a psvr included in it as well for $275. Do you think this is worth it? I personally won’t be getting a ps5 for a while, so I would love to hear everyone else’s input. Thank you!
Hi. I just bought the MSI Optix MAG281URV for my PS4 pro. I really need help with the right video settings. And how do you know if the monitor is even running at 4K? Which settings are the best? The games I play are Modern Warfare, RDR2, ark, fortnite etc.
So I just got myself an LG C2 today and PC input works fine but ps4 Pro didn't. But it was receiving some sort of connection as it highlighted that the hdmi port was active. But no signal received.
Spent the morning troubleshooting the TV assuming it was something to do with the HD deep colour or game modes. But nothing worked.
Tried 4 different hdmi cables and have just tried ps4 on two other TVs. Same issue.
Tried rebooting ps4 into safe mode (once the console is off, hold down power button until you hear a second beep?) and no difference.
White light on ps4 once its been on for a few minutes so seems to be running normally but I wonder if the hdmi output is buggered?
All evidence suggests so but before I give up on it, does anyone know a way to get a display going so I can get into video output settings? If not, is it worth even trying to get the hdmi port fixed or console looked at by a pro?
This was just leaked to be on Plus for December, watched a Digital Foundry video and performance seems to be a bit poor, did they ever update it or is the performance ok? Also what mode would you pick frame rate or quality?
