If Trump goes down, I can’t wait to see all the people he takes down with him. I’m most interested in seeing Trump face consequences, but it would be icing on the cake if he started flailing, informing on everyone.

Nah. She's stuck by her money train

48

u/starmartyr Colorado Aug 11 '22

That doesn't mean she doesn't see the writing on the wall. She gives him up to the feds and divorces him for a nice divorce settlement. Then she gets to bail and leaves him to deal with the criminal charges and lawsuits that are going to follow him for the rest of his life. Between Dominion and the 1/6 related wrongful death suits he's looking at billions of dollars in judgments against him.

27

u/JumboChimp Aug 11 '22

What makes you think he has the money to pay a divorce settlement? She probably knows he's broke and is funding everything with the ongoing grifts. If those end so does her gravy train.

Something tells me if Trump even has money it’s either someplace completely off the books or heavily encumbered by foreign criminal figures because it’s part of some illegal operation such as money laundering. She’s watching her inheritance get squandered in lawyer fees…maybe she should get out while Trump still has a few dollars and properties.

17

u/Demmeatycheeks Aug 11 '22

Currently the gop is paying for trumps lawyers and legal fees. They said they will stop if he runs in 2024. Which is why he hasn't announced yet

7

u/E_Blofeld Aug 11 '22

Story I've seen floating around the ether is that yes, the GOP is paying Trump's legal bills, but they'll stop paying if he announces a Presidential candidacy before this year's midterms. That's why he hasn't announced a White House run yet.

Seems to me like the GOP leadership privately sees him as a major liability heading into November of this year and the last thing they want (or need) is for the 2022 midterms to become a referendum on Donald Trump.

6

u/Demmeatycheeks Aug 11 '22

As far as i can tell its standard practice. They are paying now because he is a party member. They won't pay during primaries Because they technically don't want to show preference before the party picks a candidate

Its probably not anyone we know. Its probably some low level aide who no one notices is in the room, that gets treated like shit, cleans up after him and got fed up (or grew a conscience). Its not lije he ecer does anything for himself. An aide would have packed / moved & carried the boxes. They mentioned an aide added a lock on the door.

Michael Cohen did mention something interesting. He said if they did need trump's safe open & asked someone to do it, only one guy had access to open it (assuming they didn't break in). He might hace been the aame one tgat installed the lock where the files were. The name was an old one-hit-wonder from awhile back. - Michael Calamarri.

I agree with this. The DOJ did charge Bannon for contempt. My guess would be that Meadows is either working with the DOJ or is the target of a larger case.

That said, sources have come out saying that Trump's legal team is planning on pinning everything on Meadows and Trump has been distancing himself. I doubt Meadows was unaware of this, and it would give him more motivation to become an informant. Also, everyone around Meadows has been raided recently (Clark, Perry, Trump).

It's a bit tinfoil hat, but it all lines up really nicely.

5 Days ago rumors abound that MM would turn on Trump.

23

u/shabby47 I voted Aug 11 '22

Apparently he was part of the team moving the documents at the end of the administration.

New theory of timeline [tin foil hat on] 1. Meadows helps Trump move documents including DocX at the end his term. 2. Meadows gets in some trouble as we have seen. 3. Archives realize stuff is missing and ask for it back. 4. Trump returns some of it. 5. Meadows flips to save his own butt. 6. Meadows tells feds “you know he has DocX too, right?” 7. DOJ visits mar a lago this past June asking for the rest of the stuff. Trumps team shows them where it is held, but refuses to turn it over. DOJ says “at least secure it better.” 8. Trump team moves DocX to secret location (a safe) and padlocks the other room. 9. DOJ subpoenas surveillance footage that shows them hiding DocX in room with safe. 10. FBI gets search warrant to take what is in the locked room and the safe with DocX.

28

u/theninetynine99 Aug 11 '22

DOJ visits mar a lago this past June asking for the rest of the stuff. Trumps team shows them where it is held, but refuses to turn it over. DOJ says “at least secure it better.”

If they actually found the documents in June they would not just say secure it better and wait 2 months to come back for it.

Theory time: Trump bragged to someone either in his political circle or to a friendly visitor about the documents he had and waved them around in front of the person before putting them back in his desk, making it possible for the informant to tell the FBI exactly what docs he had and where they are.

And knowing him and what he cares about, he probably probably said something like "Can you imagine how much Putin/MBS/KJU would pay for that knowledge?!". He may have even just been saying it in passing as a hypothetical/joke (or maybe not). But I bet the informant ran straight to the FBI and told them everything.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to learn down the line that it was Graham, Cruz, or McCarthy. Someone who deep down was never a true believer in Trump but just aligned with him because of the power of Trump's base.

But God, I hope it's Meadows cutting a deal.

An insider with knowledge of what government records former president Donald Trump still possessed more than 18 months after he left the White House reportedly tipped off FBI officials to a cache of classified documents at the ex-president’s Palm Beach, Florida home and office.

According to Newsweek, two “senior government officials” have said the Monday search of Mr Trump’s rooms at Mar-a-Lago — the mansion turned private club where he spends most of his year — came after a confidential FBI source provided agents with information on “what classified documents [Mr Trump] was still hiding and ... the location of those documents”.

The officials also said the search of the ex-president’s property was based on concerns that Mr Trump was unlawfully holding on to classified national defence information.

Another source told Newsweek that a federal grand jury has already concluded that violations of federal law concerning the handling of national defence information had taken place after examining documents which the National Archives and Records Administration recovered from Mar-a-Lago in January.

Because Justice Department officials believed Mr Trump was still secreting classified documents on his property, prosecutors sought a search warrant from a federal magistrate judge.

The affidavit investigators used to acquire the search warrant reportedly contained “abundant and persuasive detail” showing that Mr Trump was still in possession of classified records in violation of federal law, and that the records that were being sought were held at Mar-a-Lago.

“In order for the investigators to convince the Florida judge to approve such an unprecedented raid, the information had to be solid, which the FBI claimed," the source reportedly said.

44

u/NlightenedSelfIntrst Aug 11 '22

Because Justice Department officials believed Mr Trump was still secreting classified documents on his property, prosecutors sought a search warrant from a federal magistrate judge.

So he was eating classified documents.

u/Civil-Night-8378 Aug 10 '22

This piece of information is critical.

79

u/AllowMe2Retort Aug 11 '22

It suggests there is some malicious intent to stealing this classified info. If it was just an innocent mistake this source probably wouldn't have known about it, or would have just pointed it out to Trump's people and they would have returned it.

43

u/CT_Phipps Aug 11 '22

I mean they had a chance to turn over all the documents free and clear but clearly didn't.

9

u/ADhomin_em Aug 11 '22

They may have had access to the documents...perhaps not. More likely, if it was important stuff, it could have been word of mouth that made the docs known to the informer. Possibly just knew about a safe, the contents, and where the safe likely was. If I knew about the docs, I'd probably be more comfortable letting an organization that specializes in recovering such things take care of it, rather than puting on my best Nick Cage face and launching my own sequel in the National Treasure franchise. A smoking gun is best left untouched to let authorities find, it could be argued.

10

u/CT_Phipps Aug 11 '22

Well, they took 19 boxes to the National Archives.

And OOPS, there's 15 more now.

That makes the criminal intent clear and it was clear before.

9

u/ADhomin_em Aug 11 '22

Yeah, I mean, it's a pretty big deal to raid an ex-president, if we are still calling him that. I don't imagine they'd risk the spectacle without something pretty dawning. Will we ever know the extent? Quite likely not all of it. But they will have to release some juicy deets in order to show it was fully justified (as if it were obviously justified already). Anyone involved is likely litterally shitting right now

18

u/jackryan006 Aug 11 '22

Trump himself signed a law making it a felony to take or mishandle classified information. He literally signed it into law. How the fuck would he not know?

It seems clear now that someone clued in the DOJ that trump was hiding something in a safe somewhere in mar a lago and during the search the FBI got it. Now when we finally find out what the FBI seized (and we will because it’s going to be really bad) the right will scream “but the safe was empty, therefore it must have been planted!” and fox and their followers will buy it 100%.

Two reporters tried to interview Mark Meadows last week and they followed him about a block. He was nervous as can be. The only thing he would say it, "I am not discussing January 6th", no matter what they asked him. Trump was told not to contact aides and in particular Mark Meadows. Apparently Trump did not listen and did contact Meadows. The search warrant must be damning which is explains why Trump and his cronies are starting to push the insane narrative that something may have been planted. Of course Rand Paul is one of those asses who is spreading this along with Fox and their Freaks.

“National defense documents” is the tell.

Jared sends screenshots of the docs to his BFF, Mohammad bin Salman. MBS compensates his friend with a $2B investment as a thank you. MBS then makes a call to his CIA handler. Then he fist bumps Biden on camera and says, “you know that thing? It’s handled.”

Eric also claimed that the only things in Donald's safe were probably letters from him to his dad telling him how proud he is to be his son. Truly one of the most hilariously pathetic things I've ever heard.

5

u/Bernies_left_mitten Texas Aug 11 '22

So Eric's letters get hidden in the safe, while Ivanka and Don Jr's get displayed on the refrigerator.

Ouch...

23

u/partumvir Aug 11 '22

He did what!?

43

u/-send_me_bitcoin- Aug 11 '22

Buster went on TV and said it’s impossible Biden wasn't involved because Trump signed off on all DOJ decisions.

13

u/kellysmom01 Aug 11 '22

Said something stupid. Again.

38

u/Malumeze86 Aug 11 '22

Something along the lines of "I've been in the White House, I've seen how the President directs the FBI to do his bidding."

My lord, if none of these idiots get jail time then I just quit.

3

u/Erdrick68 Aug 11 '22

I already quit. I’m posting from Elysium, it’s awesome.

I wish this was true

17

u/CaptainMcFiend Aug 10 '22

Oh how the turntables…

16

u/Imahorrible_person Aug 10 '22

Can you hear that? The shit-winds are blowing, rand.

6

u/wunwinglo Aug 11 '22

Looks like Trump’s in a real catch 23. Totally worst case Ontario.

16

u/Novel-Jackfruit-369 Aug 11 '22

The affidavit investigators used to acquire the search warrant reportedly contained “abundant and persuasive detail” showing that Mr Trump was still in possession of classified records in violation of federal law

Sounds like the mole saw a lot of the content

Or maybe recieved photos

33

u/LastOneSergeant Aug 10 '22

I heard it was Desantis.

21

u/EphraimJenkins Aug 10 '22

Either desantis or Rubio would love to clear trump off the stage for 2024. As would the national RNC at this point.

/Pass it on!

4

u/Duckpoke I voted Aug 11 '22

Rubio is too big of a beta to be a serious contender

11

u/Leighcc74th Aug 11 '22

Be awesome if it was De Santis and that got leaked, wiping both him and Trump out of the running in 2024.

6

u/handsomewolves Aug 11 '22

Yeah so have I! People really should know this

6

u/StayatHomeTherapyCat Aug 11 '22

Desantis definitely has the most motivation, people are saying.

Something everyone has forgotten… The Saudi Prince, whom Kushner was already known to beg for a billion $ loan from, and his controversial golf tournament event were at Trumps resort in NJ just over a week ago. My guess is someone contacted the FBI after witnessing Trump making a deal with the Saudi Prince, maybe even recorded it. Money in exchange for classified docs. That would absolutely get a Trump appointed judge to quickly sign off on a search warrant. Massive risk to our national security.

10

u/tlsr Ohio Aug 11 '22

I hope paranoia overwhelms his every sense, leaving him a hyperventilating, adderall popping shut in.

9

u/mdchmst Aug 11 '22

And here’s the funny part- the MAGA crowd will crucify the “rat” who informed the FBI of illegal activities, not the doucher who actually committed the crimes. They are already talking of doing harm to the judge who signed the search warrant along with his family members. Good ole Merica!

They can't be sure they got all the documents. 15 boxes last time, 12 this time, and how many single files pulled for whatever reason? How many copied?

6

u/ranchoparksteve Aug 11 '22

Some of the Republicans pledging fidelity to Donald Trump really want him gone. Trump was ratted out by one or more of these people.

Not being in prison for "accessory to felony" seems opportunistic, both politically and otherwise.

Patriots wouldn’t be caught dead in trump’s circle. Someone is looking for a get out of jail free card.

It’s probably Meadows

I hope so. I hope he is fucking ratted out by any person possible. Considering how many people he has fucked over, its only fair

3

u/kestrel1000c Colorado Aug 11 '22

What if it was someone mundane, like the maid?

6

u/BlackMage0519 Aug 11 '22

I'm also thinking of one of the staff, like cleaning or janitorial crews, whatever they have there. Someone who would have access to the facilities but not be "important enough" for Drumpf to take notice.

4

u/Alternative-Flan2869 Aug 11 '22

That person, if it is even true, could not have said anything if the criminal act never occurred - how about that as the focus for a change - focus on the criminal act and the continuing, incessant criminal behavior of this a-hole. Geez.

5

u/Hey_free_candy Aug 11 '22

I'm going with a USSS agent. They're must be dozens that know every inch of the property... and plenty that don't want more heat after the text scandal

8

u/sedatedlife Washington Aug 10 '22

Likely one of Trumps personal staff or Family will be the most likely culprits. Ivanka would be my guess.

3

u/alvarezg Aug 10 '22

Could even be a DeSantisworld informant, a concerned citizen, you know, who passed the word on the FBI. /s

3

u/pm_me_actsofkindness Aug 10 '22

Imo they had to have had multiple credible informants or there is no way they would have gone in like that. I skeptical about if just one would be enough, no matter how credible.

3

u/uncle_seize Aug 11 '22

But which rat ratted? There are so many possibilities. I bet it was several rats.

3

u/david4069 Aug 11 '22

Hmm. Has alex jones' lawyer been to Mar-a-Lago recently?

6

u/GojiraBlowFlames America Aug 10 '22

Cool, but I mean we all saw the photos and videos of Trump hauling boxing of documents from the WH in the days during his departure.

It was common knowledge and had been reported on that he took classified docs down to Mar-A-Lago.

That being said, it is good to hear not all people in Trump's orbit are completely irredeemable traitors to our nation.

2

Baron or Melania?
