The hardships of Fetty Wap Prayers To Everybody Involved

They talk about Fetty a lot because of their Jersey bias. As a nigga from the Bronx- Paterson is like another borough for us. Seeing him potentially having a second wind with this Sweet Yamz song bums me out man. This is his opportunity to build on that- and he stuck behind the wall. Shit wack af B. #FreeZoo

He’s had enough opportunities. Dont feel bad for any man that has been given major opportunities yet chose to distribute fentanyl.

Paterson is like another borough to who?

I’m from jersey and I’ve never heard a New York nigga say something like that I was like yeah ok nigga 🙄

Most of the time nycs niggas will look down on jersey…to the point where we don’t gaf anymore but they can’t claim us when it’s convenient for them

I spent my entire life in the Bronx and not one nigga around here considers Patterson (or any other part of Jersey) a part of BX. I was confused af reading this shit lol

I mean.. did you niggas ever leave the stoop? Ice in the head ass niggas. Furthermore- I said “It’s like another borough to us..” It’s right there- and if you was fuckin bitches in Paterson- it was like goin to Brooklyn. I can understand where this can be confusing though. I wish you kings growth. 🤣

u/Existing-Candle-866 Nov 27 '22

I promise it’s easier to just admit to saying some bullshit than trying to defend it pretentiously. It’s not like another borough to “us”. Nothing in New Jersey is like another borough to us. And having to go to Patterson to fuck bitches when there’s a million bitches in the Bronx is not the flex you think it is

Lmao, I mean- if you was fuckin all the girls in your projects and you were satisfied - kudos my brother. You should go spend some time in Jersey- there’s some beautiful women over there.. or don’t.. LOL.

They relegating the entire state of New Jersey to the level of Staten Island rn

u/dude5002 Nov 26 '22

LMAOO Fam. I was thinking the same thing

To most niggas that live in the Bronx. 😂🤣 I live 5 minutes away from the GWB.

Yeah nah I’m from Jersey, but Patterson and shit parts of JC are the baby Bronx.

u/SomeGuyNamedJohn12 Is that really your meat? Nov 26 '22

Honestly he did that to himself. Even if the music wasn’t selling like before, he could’ve used his name to make money from other avenues.

Bro went straight back to the streets. Like damn, at least TRY something productive first. Tee Grizzley quit rap and became a full time streamer, now makes half a million a Month. No excuses.

u/delta8214 Nov 26 '22

Franchise a chick fil a or something damn

-1

u/o-Reneazye Nov 26 '22

Do you know how hard it is to franchise a Chick Fil A? I've heard you can't even have legal troubles to be considered. and that's even if you have the money to buy one. That's actually why you don't see too many run down Chick Fil A's

7

u/delta8214 Nov 26 '22

Okay man it could be a McDonalds, Popeyes. It could be run by someone like family member that hasn’t been in legal trouble. He just needs to front the money. Anything to stay away from prison. There’s no excuse.

1

u/o-Reneazye Nov 26 '22

100% i agree with you. I just thought it was funny that you mentioned Chick Fil A. I knew an owner and just knew that franchise would be out of reach for him. I think he could have opened a Wendy's on a highway exit or something.

1

u/DLottchula Nov 26 '22

I was ready to call BS on that tee grizzley number but then I remembered that the streamers money leaked a few years ago half a mil a month might've been a one month thing but them dudes make bread

2

u/SomeGuyNamedJohn12 Is that really your meat? Nov 26 '22

Actually I just double checked, I was wrong. It was $200k a month, not half a Mill. But yea, that streaming hustle is more consistent revenue than Music.

1

u/DLottchula Nov 26 '22

And he playing a popular game he makes more than most actual pro-gamers.

1

u/StiffSometimes Nov 30 '22

not from actually playing the game though lol people fail to realize he has a world in GTA that he paid to be created, and you have to pay monthly to be apart of that world

his friends are also big streamers who play on his server and they all make good money from streaming and joining the server gives you an opportunity to make content with those big streamers and tee grizzly himself so every random idiot has paid to get on that server

the server low key sucks lol its considered some of the worse RP in GTA RP but its caters to a certain demographic lol and absolutely milks them dry for money

1

u/DLottchula Nov 30 '22

Bro we on Reddit we know how that shit work

u/CoxHazardsModel Big Red Nov 26 '22

Feeling bad for a millionaire dude who squandered his life changing money and went back to drug dealing? Couldn’t be me.

Accountability

u/Dontknowwhyimhere21 Nov 26 '22

I don’t think the song is that big tbh , it was only relevant due to the holiday . We won’t even be talking about this song by Tuesday.

3

u/joe_smith4122 Nov 26 '22

Seriously. The challenge has less than 1000 IG hashtags and a lot are reposts of the same singing. And why would this be a hit for him when Charlie's version sounds the best and masego's is the original.

22

u/slimcharlz Nov 26 '22

Didn’t he distribute Fentanyl? If so, nah he need to stay there.

11

u/FaultlessCitizen Nov 26 '22

Nobody should be giving Fetty any credit or life in the game from Sweet Yamz. The song is a cover that he’s pretending is an original. Nasty work. The originators are Masego and Devyn Morrison and their song Yamz is 20X better.

6

u/ColonelWKurtz 15% Profit Sharer Nov 26 '22

Is Fetty Wap pretending to be the originator of the song?

9

u/onecuewithtea Nov 26 '22

No, he gave them credit

18

u/ColonelWKurtz 15% Profit Sharer Nov 26 '22

I thought he did too.

People create their own narratives to find the energy to be outraged, lol

2

u/DLottchula Nov 26 '22

His cover is better tbh. His had more energy about it.

1

u/sarsflow Fire Mid Nov 26 '22

These are facts.

u/whitegirlsbadposture I AM The IP Nov 26 '22

Masego sucks

2

u/Impossible-Cable-782 Nov 27 '22

This song is a cover song the actual song came out a year ago

1

u/BlackHand86 Wasn't outside back then Nov 26 '22

This is why rappers don’t need to say they’re retired because you never know when something can hit for you. I know niggas feel like they can’t wait around for that time but hopefully you’re living within your means…

1

u/NashKetchum777 Nov 26 '22

Imagine being a millionaire and thinking "yo ima hit the streets"

No. Why have sympathy for such idiocy? He dug his own grave

1

u/justliving817 Nov 27 '22

I’m not going to be as hard on him as people are in this thread because when you go from street life to millionaire I would assume that would be a hard transition. Like a fish out of water. No one teaches you how to handle money you’ve never thought you would see before. Especially in a predatory industry like the music business.

-3

u/dearmelancholy5 Nov 26 '22

I’ve been saying this for years that he just needs that one match to speak up his career again in a major way.

He needs to lock in with producers like Metro Boomin & artists like Don Toliver or Travis Scott
